Current City: Dublin, Ohio

About Cardinal Health

Cardinal Health is a global healthcare services and products company. We provide customized solutions for hospitals, healthcare systems, pharmacies, ambulatory surgery centers, clinical laboratories, physician offices, and patients in the home. Working to be healthcare’s most trusted partner, our customer-centric focus drives continuous improvement and leads to innovative solutions that improve the lives of people every day.

Role at Cardinal Health

Anagha serves as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at Cardinal Health,  leading the AI Center of Excellence and the Generative AI (GenAI) task force. Her responsibilities include developing and executing AI strategies for enterprise solutions, commercial technologies, and digital transformation. She is dedicated to ensuring the responsible use of AI to drive innovation, efficiency, and improved outcomes for employees, customers, and patients.

Q: What’s a trend in tech/innovation that you think more people should pay attention to?

Large Action Models (LAMs) represent a transformative evolution in artificial intelligence, bridging the gap between linguistic understanding and actionable execution. Unlike traditional Large Language Models (LLMs), which excel at processing and generating text, LAMs are designed to translate linguistic interpretations into tangible, context-aware actions across both digital and physical environments.

Q: What’s one “moonshot” idea that would help put Ohio on the map as a leading tech hub?

A moonshot idea for Ohio is to create a Metamaterial Innovation Hub. This hub would focus on developing and commercializing advanced metamaterials for industries like aerospace, healthcare, and energy. Metamaterials are human-engineered materials with properties that are not found in nature. Their unique properties offer numerous benefits beyond natural materials, such as negative refractive index and perfect wave absorption, opening up innovative possibilities in fields like optics, electronics, and biomedical research.

Q: Outside of work, what’s a favorite hobby or activity that you enjoy?

Outside of work, my favorite hobby is getting lost in a good book. It's like embarking on a thrilling adventure without ever leaving my couch. The perfect escape from reality, where I can immerse myself in a different life for a while. So, if you ever need me, you know where to find me – between the pages of a captivating novel!

Q: If someone were visiting your city, what’s one can’t miss coffee shop or restaurant people should try?

If someone were visiting Dublin, Ohio, they absolutely can't miss Kitchen Social. The biscuits there are, unfortunately, amazing. The flaky, buttery masterpieces are so good, they will make you wish you had a bigger appetite (and a smaller waistline).
