Q: What’s a trend in tech/innovation that you think more people should pay attention to?
Generative AI, particularly when combined with optimization sciences, is poised to deliver significant impact. With Ohio ranking in the top five among states for manufacturing output, the state is well-positioned to become the AI-Driven Manufacturing Capital of the U.S. By building on its industrial heritage and robust manufacturing base, Ohio can lead the transformation of the industry through advanced AI technologies. Key initiatives include developing smart factory networks statewide, launching comprehensive AI workforce reskilling programs, promoting data-driven green manufacturing solutions, and establishing Ohio as a global hub for AI manufacturing expertise.
Q: Outside of work, what’s a favorite hobby or activity that you enjoy?
Hiking has always been a favorite pastime of mine, especially when my wife and sons can join me. With the abundance of parks and trails in our amazing state, it’s a hobby that’s both accessible and enjoyable!
Q: If someone were visiting your city, what’s one can’t miss coffee shop or restaurant people should try?
No trip to Cincinnati is complete without a visit to Mile 42 Coffee in charming downtown Loveland. Known for its quaint atmosphere, authentic vibe, and dedication to sourcing local ingredients, it’s the perfect spot to savor your favorite brew. While I appreciate the understated elegance of their Americano, for a bold twist, I highly recommend the adventurous Honey Bee!
