Q: What’s a trend in tech/innovation that you think more people should pay attention to?
Data Privacy and Security in the wake of Data Sovereignty and how this impacts discussions around synthetic data. As data breaches and privacy concerns rise, regulation around protection will be front and center.
Q: What’s one “moonshot” idea that would help put Ohio on the map as a leading tech hub?
In addressing one of Ohio’s biggest challenges, childhood poverty, my moonshot idea would be creating a Smart Community hub. In this hub, we’d address housing, education, and healthcare using technological solutions. The partnership between our leading hospitals, universities, and financial services companies could serve to be an advantage in building solutions that not only improve our position in technology but also our position in humanity.
Q: Outside of work, what’s a favorite hobby or activity that you enjoy?
Outside of work, I love assisting youths learn new skills, which can be through sports or academic mentorship.
Q: If someone were visiting your city, what’s one can’t miss coffee shop or restaurant people should try?
(I recommend) Butcher and Rose (restaurant), and Koffee Paradise (coffee shop).
